think of this dish with lamb. then it would have been classic Istanbul. obviously this version is not the tradition of Istanbul as Turkey is a muslim country and does not eat pork. I’ve never been a practising one, so I never choose not-eating it. besides I think something that tastes so good should not be avoided.
