marinated peaches, buttery corn & spiced okra – a salad

Just because I fancied these together. Just because it is the season for peaches, fresh corn and pink hued okra. Just because I found them at the farmer’s market. Just because they were gorgeous.

Last Thursday at the weekly farmer’s market I found all this stuff and just by seeing them on stalls, I started imagining the almost-pickled-but-not-really peaches, the buttery sweetness of the fresh corn and the tiny pink stained okra with the spiciness of some sumac and Maraş pepper and the freshness of mint from my garden.
